Mocking Jay

MockingJay
“Almost nothing remains of district twelve. Almost a month ago, the capital firebombs obliterating the poor coal miners houses in the seam, the shops in the town, even the justice building.” Katniss Evergreen, girl of fire has survived under the scrutiny of the capitals rein. With Peeta taken captive by the capital, the only option Katniss has is to fight back. In the book Mockingjay, by Suzanne Collins, things are getting heated with the capitals knowing of district 13. The book has its ups and downs, sadly the beginning is slow but if you have read the previous books you must read Mockingjay to find out  what happens next. The suspense is amazing in MockingJay with characters as unbelievable as ever. These characters and the writing in the previous books was what made me want to finish the series with mockingjay. Would all my questions be answered ?  After many decades would evil President Snow finally fall? Will the rebels defeat the capital’s army? These are questions that you will have to find out by reading. If you are a fan of the series, I highly recommend reading the final book.

  1. Though the first Hunger Games book was great, the second two fell far short. While I'd normally recommend reading every book in a series, with this it is probably better to just read the first hunger games book and make your own ending. The second two books were long, boring, and predictable. If you cannot live without reading these book, then go right ahead, but don't say you weren't warned.

  3. This sounds like a great book. I personally haven't read a book by Suzanne Collins but soon hopefully will and I know the book that I will be reading. I hear also Hunger Games is also a great book by this author and will hopefully read the book sometime soon.

  4. My personal opinion of the third installment of this series much relates to the thoughts of Peter. The opening book The Hunger Games, stormed its way to the shelves and set the standard for all of the other upcoming books quite high. The other two could not match the same level of excitement, suspense, and creativity the the first book established. The avid fans of this series however, should give this book a try though.
